Choosing a Dentist for Your Child |
Early dental visits have the power to shape your child’s attitude towards the dentist and their oral health for the rest of their lives. That’s why it is important to develop a positive relationship between your child and their dentist from an early age, and that begins with making the right choice for your pediatric dentist.
There are many factors to consider when choosing a dentist, and we've got a few questions you should ask before making your decision!
Things to Consider:
- Does office space seem child-focused (toys, entertainment, information)?
- Is there a lot of information for parents about caring for their child's teeth?
- Does the office accept insurance?
- Does the dentist keep up with continuing education/technology?
- Will the dentist/staff be able to put your child at ease?
- Does the office allow you to accompany your child during treatment?
At Park Place Dental and Park Place Junior, we encourage parents to ask questions and get involved in the dental experience. We hope to empower you to make the best decisions for your child’s oral health and overall well-being. If you’d like to know more about our dentistry, or if you'd like to schedule an appointment at our children's practice, please contact our office.
